At 26, the young Greek Steve Mill is successfully carving out a musical path of his own, striving to create music with atmosphere and emotional resonance. This is Steve's 5th release on UT and a precursor to the arrival of his debut album later this year. Steve's break through release, the 'Bright Side EP' received support from many quarters, his melody infused productions finding favour from scene stalwarts such as Ben Watt through to Hernan Cattaneo and plenty more in-between. Steve has straddled the world of deep house and techno, with whichever style he turns his hand to lovingly crafted with groove, depth and warmth. The Happy Carriage EP continues his ever growing confidence as a producer to really take note of.

Jay Leblone makes a welcome return to UT. A master of soulful electronic music, Jays' evocative sounds are always deep and seductive. Under the guise of Aqua Bassino he recorded two albums and an array of 12" EP's for Laurent Garnier's F Communications label, showcasing his jazzier side. Previous outings on UT ‘We’re All On A Journey’ and ‘Alma’, won support from Lovebirds, Motorcitysoul, Ian Pooley, Tedd Patterson amongst many others.
Jay's third release on UT explores both the darker and lighter sides of house. Title track 'Jarzeeno Junior' takes the dark path, trippy synths intertwine over rolling beats, analogue bass and a simple rhodes line. 'Spiritual Love Thang' takes the alternative route, good time vibes, depth, warmth with an ode to times gone by.

Having been huge fans of 'Rainy Things' released last year on the ever excellent Freerange Records, we were very pleased to receive this three track beauty from Tomson & Benedict, via our good mutual friend Matthias Vogt. The Manchester based duo have risen to prominence on the back of some rather impressive releases, garnering support from folk such as Jimpster, Osunlade, Deetron, Josh Wink, Laurent Garnier and Paul Woolford. Their sound encompasses old school house, garage and techno with a forward thinking infusion of electronic sounds and arrangements.
